Impressions
Wooden sticks and wool cords
Creating this beautiful arrangement may seem more challenging than it actually is. The base is formed using OASIS floral foam, wooden sticks, and STYLIT wool cords «RAW». With the help of a hot glue gun, the wooden sticks are fixed next to each other, and by attaching the wool cords to the wooden sticks, a relaxed appearance is achieved. In the next step, the basic structure is placed around the floral foam, creating the foundation of this artwork.
Choice of Flowers
First, Krisztián added some grasses to the floral arrangement to create a waterfall-like effect. Then, he incorporated fresh cut flowers to give it a more relaxed appearance. These cut flowers balance out the denser base beautifully, contributing to a harmonious overall composition.
Wool cord as a connecting element
While the wooden pieces bring a certain robustness, the flowers radiate a joyful lightness. The «RAW» wool cord gracefully harmonizes the transition between these two qualities, skilfully connecting one with the other.
Change of perspective
While the flower arrangement appears as a flower pot when viewed from the side, it takes on the appearance of a lovingly crafted wreath when viewed from above. Depending on your preference, you can further enhance the piece by adding a candle or allowing the waterfall-like effect to captivate the viewer.
Colours and Materials
Colour Palette 2 of the ROOTS trend is characterized by its pastel hues. Products with a soft texture and trendy elements of roughness are effectively showcased here. Flowing and seamless colour transitions convey a sense of grounding and vitality.
For this beautiful piece, Krisztián draws from the ROOTS 2 trend box and works with the gray-melange wool cord «RAW». To infuse the arrangement with dynamic energy, he combines elements that convey strength and vision with delicate pastel flowers such as sedum, sky blue asters, gentians, ornamental onions, hydrangeas, amaranth, white roses, and green Japanese maple.
The various shapes and sizes of the flowers reflect the diversity of the beautiful nature – in line with our ROOTS trend concept.
