Clay Pot in Fuchsia, Green, Yellow
This clay pot is painted with acrylic colours in delicate light green and sunny yellow. To give the pot a playful touch, Lily has artfully placed fuchsia red „Stylo“ wool cords with a wire core around the rim. The result is a summery and colourful work of art for the garden or terrace.
Utensils
To create this flower pot, you will need colourful acrylic paints, clear varnish for sealing, brushes in two sizes, "Stylo" wool cords with wire core, colourful wool yarn „Dochtfaden", scissors and a hot glue gun.
Make bows
Lily cut several pieces of the fuchsia red "Stylo" cord, about 20 cm long, bent them in the middle to form a small loop. She always fixed this loop with a "Dochtfaden" wool thread in a contrasting colour – in this case yellow – to create a cheerful and colourful mood.
Colourful woolen bows
Lily tied the "Stylo" loops in vivid fuchsia red together with light yellow, brick red and apple green versions of the "Dochtfaden" wool cord.
Glue loops
Lily then fixes the finished loops in rows to the upper edge of the coloured flower pot so that the individual loops touch each other. The ends can be bent into any shape thanks to the wire core in the "Stylo" cord.

Flowerpot in Orange-Red
Whether as an impressive upcycling of an old flower pot or simply as an upgrade for a simple terracotta pot, bold acrylic colours add a cheerful, summery touch to both old and new clay pots. Lily Beelen has artfully decorated this pot with soft wool cords in various shades of red, orange and pink.
Loop by loop
For this pot, Lily again finishes all the loops first and then fixes them around the flower pot with the hot glue gun. The loops sit a little lower than in the first version, which makes for a loose, individual overall look when combining several pots.
Connected
The little difference: in this design, Lily has tied the top ends of the bows together with colourful "Dochtfaden" cords. The individual bunches can be bent and draped to suit your mood thanks to the wire inside.
Harmony with Lantana
The colours of the wool cords harmonise perfectly with the multi-faceted play of colours of the flowers of the Lantana, which has found its summer home in this chic flower pot. The colourful potpourri of these lively mood colours radiates an inviting and lively atmosphere.

Many, many colourful Stylos
Lily Beelen has also transformed these pots with colourful acrylic paint and fluffy "Stylo" sheep's wool felt into purveyors of good cheer. The artworks in warm, bright summer colours pick up on the colour scheme of the potted plants placed in them and add that little something extra.
Utensils
Different, colourful acrylic paint and harmonising "Stylo" wool cords are the starting point for this flower pot upcycling. Add a paintbrush, hot glue gun and scissors – that's all you need for these summery clay works of art.
Snip-snip
For this enchanting variation of the "Lily Pots", Lily Beelen first painted the clay pots and then cut many, many little "Stylo" snippets from the different coloured wool cords.
Glue down wool snippets
The small, colourful pieces of wool look like overflowing water when they are glued irregularly to the pots with the hot glue gun.

Potted yellow-green
It's all in the mix: This version of our "Lily Pots" again stands out from its "relatives" with a few little details: yellow "Stylo" wool cord loops filled with green "Gitti" sheep's wool felt with a jute structure. Combined in matching colours on a clay pot painted in yellow and green.
The first coat
First Lily painted the pot in acrylic colours in sunny light yellow with a light green pot rim. She chose the natural STYLIT cords and felts to match the acrylic colours.
Wool loops with jute
In stylish light yellow, Lily formed wide loops with the flexible "Stylo" wool cord, wrapped them a few times with the thin wool thread "Smartfaden" in mottled olive green to fix the loops.
Attach the "Gitti" wool felt
Lily underlaid the wool loops with the sheep's wool felt "Gitti" in moss green, glued it in place and cut it into shape. She made sure that the loops were quite wide and high so that the felt with the natural jute lattice could be seen a bit.
Gluing the loops
Lily glued the finished loops of wool to the flower pot with the hot glue gun, just next to each other.
