Designer Anja Ersing has created a flower arrangement in the eye-catching DIVERSITY trend. The exotic flower arrangement immediately attracts attention. The colour-intensive carpet of blossoms is easy to integrate thanks to the construction of the felt band «Organic» and the cord with wire «Rauris». The substructure offers countless design possibilities. In the video, Anja shows how to make this appealing and unusual arrangement.

Floating flower carpet
The flower arrangement combines angular, round and squiggly elements. The basic framework of STYLIT wool cords and felt ribbons gives shape and stability. This airy composition offers space for stylish arrangements of cut flowers and adds extra colour to the exotic arrangement.
STYLIT wool base
Anja starts the basic structure with loose air stitches from the cord with wire «Rauris», which she curtains around the four split bars. The inner wires of the cord allow flexible shaping and also give stability. Turquoise and green wool ribbons are worked into the «Rauris» bow shape and give fullness to the structure.
Open space for flowers
The airy basic construction made of wool makes it easy to work with the cut flowers. These can simply be pulled through the open spaces in the felt. The wool also creates a fascinating contrast with flowers such as delphiniums, anthuriums, berry fruits and more.
Colours and materials
The powerful colour palette 1 of the DIVERSITY-Trend trend radiates an energetic mood and offers versatile possibilities to combine vibrant colours and creative shapes. Eye-catching and sometimes garish shades, known from the gaming industry, are found in cords, felts, plants and decorative products.
Anja uses the cheerful mint green cord with wire «Rauris» from the DIVERSITY 1 Trendbox and continues to work in shades of green: the jade green felt band «Crushed» and the two-coloured felt band «Organic»in lime green and lemon yellow, together with the green of the cut flowers, make for exciting green transitions.
DIVERSITY 1 stands out through colour: Anja uses exotic, colourful plants such as delphiniums, gloriosa, anthuriums, protea, orchids, berry branches, alliums and grasses – they all add splashes of colour. Flower shapes and leaves are different and asymmetrical, in the spirit of DIVERSITY.
