Wrapping a flower box in felt made from real virgin sheep's wool is a great way to go green and reduce your carbon footprint. Old flower boxes don't have to be thrown away, because you can creatively embellish them with felt so that they look brand new again.

Covering your plastic flower box with a felt made from real virgin sheep's wool is a great way to go green and reduce your carbon footprint. So you don't have to throw away your flower box and start again. There are many creative ways to embellish it with felt to make it look brand new. Here, for example, we have chosen a combination of our STYLIT "Klausi Filz" and a STYLIT wool cord "Dochtfaden" in bright yellow tones.

Yolk yellow is a warm, friendly colour that creates a positive, inviting atmosphere. It conveys a feeling of joie de vivre and optimism and is perfect for making your living room or balcony cosy. In combination with the rich, strong curry yellow, on the other hand, you create a strong, positive effect on your mood.

And the best thing is: the felt and cord are colour-fast and water-resistant, so that sun and wind can hardly harm them, and you can also use the products perfectly outdoors.

Step by step

Step 1: Attach the felt

First cut your "Klausi Filz" to the right size in the colour of your choice. Simply wrap it once around the flower box and let the ends overlap by about 1.5-2 cm. Staple the ends together at this point with the stapler.

Step 2: Embellish

Now it's time to embellish with the "Dochtfaden" wool cord. Tie it around your flower box at regular intervals. You can hide the knots between the flowers. The thread gives your flower box structure and an exciting look.

Step 3: Placement

Once you are happy with your flower artwork, you need to find the right place for it. It's best to consider your choice of flowers, whether they need a lot or little sun. Your box will be a colourful eye-catcher no matter where you place it.
