Shimmering «Original» flower ensemble

Video tutorial

Quick, yet distinctive - it's a wonderful feeling when a piece comes together swiftly and still makes an impact! Artist Charline Pritscaloff has created a floral ensemble in the ORIGINAL style, skilfully combining soft textures and delicate colours.  The pastel woollen felt «Lunte» plays an important role in this ensemble, giving it a soft glow.

Step-by-Step

Starting material

For this arrangement, you'll need the «Lunte» woollen felt in light ochre and natural white for the first steps. You'll also need a yellow-gold aluminium wire, a wire frame, and fresh cut flowers.

Creat the wire frame

Charline begins by filling the holes in the wire frame with loose loops of «Lunte» woollen felt in light ochre and natural white. She forms a cross with the aluminium wire and drapes the «Klausi» felt ribbon around the four split ends. The wire cross is placed in the centre, adding a flexible variation to the shape of the base structure.

Fill with wool

Pull the loose loops of wool through each hole in the corners of the wire frame. You can leave some space in the middle to show off the cut flowers in the next steps.

Adding the flowers

Now you can easily thread the cut flowers through the holes in the felt. Start with the larger flowers, such as the banksia and work your way down to the smaller flowers. The wool gives a lovely, soft contrast to the flowers.

Last step

Once everything is carefully assembled, grab a pretty vase and arrange the flower bouquet however you like! You may want to pull some of the flowers out for a more natural, less perfectly arranged look. And there you have it, your stunning masterpiece is complete! | Photo: Nata Shilo

Colours and Materials

Farben und Materialien Farben und Materialien

Colour Spectrum 2 of the ORIGINAL Trend presents a delicate and mild style. Pastel colours and soft textures harmonise beautifully and complement each other. Soothing colours like light ochre yellow or sandy brown create a peaceful aura.

Charline mainly worked with natural white and ochre yellow «Lunte» felt wood and the «Organic» felt ribbon from this Trendbox. In keeping with these materials, she chose flowers in similiar shades: dahlias, chrysanthemums, roses, and caladium leaves, or dried flowers like craspedia - together, they make for a beautiful overall composition.

ORIGINAL - This Trendbox enables the creation of timelessly beautiful pieces.
