AUTUMN BROWN
Imagine taking an autumnal walk in the woods, surrounded by falling leaves, with the colours yellow and green filling you with a happy sense of fall. Indeed, yellow and green are inseparable from autumn and create a unique effect. Combined with the autumnal brown tones of dry plants and pine cones, they create a warm and natural atmosphere.
The yellow-green "Crushed felt" ribbon (GU67) harmonises perfectly with the corn-yellow "Dochtfaden" cord (BE25), and the rich forest green of the felt (GU69) and the apple green of the cord (GU02) complement each other perfectly. Green and yellow in this composition give a feeling of freshness and balance. These colours are perfect for autumn and create a natural and inviting atmosphere.
Step by step
Step 1: Cut the felt to size
Cut several strips of "Crushed felt" wool felt to the height of your tin bucket. To create a variety of looks at the end, choose felt strips of different widths, 5 cm and 7 cm, and in two colours, yellow and green.
Step 2: Glue the felt strips
Take the tin bucket and glue the felt strips to it with the hot glue gun. Alternate between yellow and green and between different felt widths. Glue on as many strips, overlapping slightly, until you have a felt edge of about 2 cm. This edge creates an exciting visual frame and adds colour and a positive feel to the arrangement.
Step 3. Add a touch of autumn
Place a variety of dry plants in the tin bucket, such as poppy pods, leucodendron heads, protea, ivy stems and pine cones. Use some floristry wire to hold the plants in place to create some height. Use the felt edging and allow the plants to overhang slightly without covering the entire edging.
Step 4: Finishing touches
The curly wool cords placed on top of the autumn arrangement add a colourful touch. The bright colours of the cords pick up on the yellow and green of the felt border, creating a harmonious overall look. Each detail adds to the unity and beauty of the arrangement.
And there you have it!
This small arrangement in atmospheric autumn colours is versatile. It is perfect as an atmospheric decoration for home and garden, creating a warm autumn mood. It can also be used as a touching memorial arrangement.
