Step by step
Step 1:
Air mesh chain as a base
In the first step of our workpiece, we create an air stitch chain with the woollen cord "RAW". This chain can be extended as desired, depending on the desired length of the project.
Step 2:
Shape air stitch into a ring
In the next step, the chain of chain stitches is joined together to form a ring. To do this, simply link the end of the chain to its beginning by carefully joining the two ends together.
Step 3:
Add more rows
The next step is to crochet more rows. To do this, crochet into each stitch of the previous row by adding new stitches. Work your way up round by round until you reach the desired height.
Step 4:
Closing the last row
In the penultimate step, the last row is completed by crocheting single crochet stitches. To do this, pull the yarn through each stitch of the previous row and pull it through the loop. This technique ensures a tight and stable final edge, which gives the work an even and attractive appearance.
Step 5:
Decorate the wreath
The final step is to decorate the Christmas wreath in matching colours as desired. You can add various Christmas elements such as cinnamon sticks, small stars, baubles or fir branches to give it a festive and atmospheric touch.
