Step by step
Step 1:
Cut the sheep's wool felt to size
Cut the sheep's wool felt slightly narrower so that it fits the width of the wooden board. Make sure that the felt is a little smaller than the board so that it lies well later and fits perfectly into the arrangement.

Step 2:
Shaping felt
Cut out several small squares from the sheep's wool felt. These will be needed later for the arrangement. Make sure that you cut enough squares to create the entire arrangement.
Step 3:
Prepare the cardboard
Now cut out several squares from cardboard. Attach double-sided adhesive tape to the front and back of each cardboard square. These prepared cardboard squares provide additional stability and allow the felt squares to be held securely and firmly in place.

Step 4:
Equip cardboard
Attach the felt squares to the front and back of the prepared cardboard squares. The double-sided adhesive tape ensures that the felt squares adhere securely and evenly to the cardboard squares.
Step 5:
Skewer felt squares
Carefully pin the prepared squares onto two grit sticks by passing them through the squares. Repeat this process twice: once for the left-hand side and once for the right-hand side of the chain. On the left-hand side, the square chain should be slightly longer to make room for three candles. The right-hand side should be shorter, as there should only be room for one candle.

Step 6:
Attach the row of felt squares to the frame
Carefully insert the felt square chains into the dry flower arrangement mixture. The grit sticks should be firmly inserted into the mass so that the chains remain stable and secure. Position the longer chain on the side where three candles are to be placed and the shorter chain on the side with only one candle. Make sure that the chains are evenly aligned and well integrated into the arrangement to achieve a harmonious overall look.
Step 7:
Position the candles
Drill small holes in the wooden board beforehand to attach the candles securely. Insert the candle holders into the drilled holes and secure them well. Then place the candles in the holders. Make sure that the candles sit firmly in the holders and that the arrangement looks stable and harmonious.

Step 8:
Decorate flower arrangements
Now you can decorate the arrangement as you wish. Spread dried bark, small cones, red berries, green plants or whatever else you want to place on top of the dried flower arrangements to cover them and embellish the arrangement. Make sure to place the decorations evenly and harmoniously so that they complement the overall picture and emphasise the festive atmosphere.
