Step by step
Step 1:
Push wire through felt
Carefully push the wire through the felt. Make sure that you do not damage the felt in the process. Pull the wire through until only a short piece of the wire is visible on the left-hand side.
Step 2:
Weave the wire through the felt
Step 3:
Connect wire ends
Now connect the ends of the wire together. Make sure that you twist the ends together evenly and tightly to create a stable connection.
Step 4:
Cut wire
Now cut off the excess wire and cover the twisted part with the felt so that the wire is completely covered and no longer visible.
Step 5:
Decorate ring
Now apply the hot glue in small dots to the felt ring and carefully place the dried flowers on top. It is best to start in the centre and work your way outwards to achieve a balanced overall look. Press the flowers lightly so that they stick. Make sure that the glue does not ooze out around the edges and allow everything to dry well before you continue working on the door ring or hanging it up.
