Fresh green flowers
The STYLIT felting wool "Lunte" in lavender brings fresh colours to your bouquet design and takes it to a new level. With a vibrant mix of Sheep's wool felt and colourful flowers this composition creates an inviting and dynamic look. Be inspired by the blaze of colour and the creative combination to create a floral masterpiece that is guaranteed to turn heads.
Step by step
Step 1:
Shape and fasten the wire
First of all, form the wire mesh into a ring and then secure it by hooking the protruding wires into each other at both ends.
Step 2:
Attach plug-in wires
Now place the three plug wires approximately in a triangle in the ring. Fasten them by hooking them into the wire mesh. Then bend the three wires in the centre and tie them together like stems.
Step 3:
Cut felting wool to size
Tear the felting wool into several pieces about 50 cm long. Divide each piece in the centre to obtain smaller portions. These steps optimally prepare the felting wool for later use in designing or fixing flower arrangements. Make sure that the pieces are torn evenly to ensure even processing.
Step 4:
Weave in felt wool
To weave in the felting wool, pull a small loop of wool through each of the wire squares. Repeat this until there are no more free squares.
Step 5:
Spray the workpiece
To ensure optimum hold, spray your creation with a spray adhesive and leave to dry thoroughly.
Step 6:
Fill the woollen frame with flowers
Finish off the felt cuff with selected flowers, in keeping with the "diversity" trend. Designer Anja Ersing uses intensely coloured flowers, for example in lilac-purple tones.
