Our bouquet is characterised by the harmonious combination of Cornflower blue, turquoise blue and natural white. The woollen cords in the two Shades of blue are carefully glued onto cardboard and shaped into an elegant ring. This ring fits perfectly around a flower pot or vase and gives the arrangement a stylish frame.
The Cornflower blue and Turquoise blue of the woollen cords lend the bouquet a lively freshness and depth, while the Natural white of flowers radiates clarity and elegance. The gentle Green tone of decorative plants rounds off the arrangement and creates a natural balance. Flower arrangement in blue
This floral arrangement by Thomas Gröhbühl is a veritable sea of blue cords. The play with the different nuances of this colour is truly captivating.
Step 2:
Blue in all its nuances
Cornflower blue, turquoise blue and natural white - Thomas is the first to bring the various "Flausch Mirabell" wool cords in these cool, harmonious colours to roughly the same length.
Step 3:
Connected
Thomas now lays the pieces of cord in front of him one after the other. He fixes the cords in place by gluing a strip of cardboard to the lower third of the woollen cords using a hot glue gun. It is important that the cords also protrude beyond the cardboard at the bottom. The cardboard should fit loosely around the flowers.
Step 4:
Fixing
A thick wire is then used to create a stable holder. You can then simply bend your blue work of art into a circle and secure it in your bouquet with the wire.
Step 5:
Arranging flowers
With their soft white and green tones, the flowers blend in perfectly with the colour scheme of the felts and make the blue tones of the cords shine even brighter.
Designer
Thomas Gröhbühl began his career as a florist in his uncles' flower shops and completed his training in Leopoldshafen. After ten years in Bühl, he won the German Florist Championship in 2010. Today, he wows visitors at wholesale markets and in his own shows with creative arrangements. As a member of the "junge Wilden", he shows innovative designs and, in addition to his permanent position at Steinbach Floristik in Karlsruhe, realises extraordinary ideas with the "Flower Art Project", which he presents on Instagram.
