Step 1:

For your party table decorations, start by taking your felts. Cut rectangles of the same size from them. Then fold each one lengthways and cut out a corner starting from the folded side and leaving a 2-3 cm gap to the outer edge.

Punch holes

You can now use a hole punch to make holes in your felt. Make sure that they are always in roughly the same places: This will make your garland really even at the end.

Step 3:

Step 4:
Decorating lanterns

Wrap your woollen cords around the top edge of your glass or vase a few times. Finally, wrap the ends with your jute thread. It looks good here if you cover about 2.3 cm with the jute thread. Simply let the ends of your woollen cords hang down loosely.

Step 5:
Finalise

Now add your candle and the glitter sand. You can add highlights with a few small dried lavender bouquets. Simply tie them to the top of your felt wool cord with the jute thread and your table decoration is ready.
