Materials and colours

The colour spectrum 2 of the ORIGINAL trends presents itself from a delicate and mild Page. Pastel colours and soft textures harmonise perfectly with each other and emphasise each other. Calming colours such as light ochre yellow or sandy brown create a peaceful aura.
Charline has mainly worked with natural white and ochre yellow felting wool "Lunte" and the Sheep's wool felt "Klausi" from this trend box. She has selected matching flowers in related colours: Dahlias, chrysanthemums, roses and caladiums, banksia or Dried flowers like the Craspedia - together they simply create an appealing overall picture.
ORIGINAL - This trend box enables the creation of timelessly beautiful workpieces.
Step by step
Step 1:
Starting material
For this flower arrangement, you will need the wool felt "Lunte" in the colours light ochre yellow and natural white for the initial steps. You will also need a shimmering yellow-gold aluminium wire, a wire frame and fresh cut flowers.

Step 2:
Manufacture wire frame
Charline begins by filling the holes in the wire frame with loose air stitches from the "Lunte" wool felt. She forms a cross with the aluminium wire and drapes the felt ribbon "Klausi" around the four split ends. The wire cross is placed approximately in the centre and provides a flexible variation in the shape of the basic framework.
Step 3:
Fill with wool
You can pull the airy meshes through each hole, especially at the corners of the wire frame. You can leave some space in the centre to show off the cut flowers in the next steps.

Step 4:
Stick flowers
Now the cut flowers can easily be pulled through the open spaces in the felt. Start with the larger plant elements such as the banksia and then work your way up to the delicate flowers. The wool creates a fascinating, soft contrast to the flowers.
Step 3:
Final spurt
Once everything is carefully arranged, you can grab an attractive vase and customise the bouquet to your taste! Feel free to pluck the flowers out a little to create a natural and not too perfectly organised look. And your impressive piece is finished! | Image: Nata Shilo
