10 ideas for packaging bottles

When it comes to presenting customers with exceptional gifts, florists know that a good bottle of wine, sparkling champagne, homemade juices and liqueurs or exclusive oils and the like are particularly popular. Are you looking for new ideas to express your expertise as a professional and package these treasures in an unforgettable way?
Idea 1:
Perfectly encased
It's not just the contents that can impress, the packaging can also speak volumes. Take two single-coloured "Toni" felts in the colours of your choice, place them on top of each other and wrap them once around your gift. Then go another 5-10 cm and cut the felts off. You can now use the woollen cord "wick thread" to tie everything tightly at the bottom third. Finally, fold over the overlapping part and let it hang down casually. Your gift is now perfectly wrapped.

Idea 2:
Gentle neck flatterer

The single-coloured "Toni" felt in pale pink, a few small flowers and our "Glimmer wick thread" wool cord in sandy brown - that's all you need for this elegant and romantic bottle packaging. Simply take a piece of felt, wrap it around the neck of the bottle and tie it in place with the woollen cord. The wire in the thread makes it easy to bend and keeps its shape. You can also use it to attach your flowers. Twist the ends of the felt cord creatively into circles or loops. You can pull your felt apart a little to create a small fan.

Idea 3:
Valuably wrapped
Would you like your packaging to be invaluable? The "Money-Maker" felt makes it possible. It contains real € money snippets. Simply wrap it around your gift and tie it with wool cords in the colours of your choice. You can add an extra special touch to your gift by combining several colours or thicknesses of wool cord. Here, for example, we have one in loden green mixed with a natural jute thread.

Tip
Bottles often have original shapes and different sizes. So why not simply use them as original flower vases? Simply wrap cords and ribbons around the empty bottles and you'll have a unique vase that will be the envy of your guests.

Idea 4:
Flowery and beautiful
Say it through the flower with your packaging. For this idea, use the STYLIT felting wool "Lunte" in natural white and the wool cord "Dochtfaden Glimmer" in curry yellow and sand brown. Cover the stems of your flowers with the felting wool and weave the two wool cords around them like a plait. Then tie your floral artwork around your bottle in two places so that nothing slips.

Idea 5:
Bagged
Take a single-coloured felt "Toni", fold it over once and glue the sides together with a hot glue gun. Fold the top edge over once to create a small collar. Make sure that your bottle fits into the small bag, but that there is not too much empty space. Then tie everything to the neck of the bottle with a woollen cord "wick thread". And the icing on the cake: sheep's wool insulates, so you not only have pretty packaging, but also a bottle cooler!

Idea 6:
Naturally rustic

The virgin wool felt "Gitti" has a natural, slightly rustic look and feel and is the perfect addition to any gift. The light mint green colour goes well with the fresh green of the rosemary sprigs and creates a natural, nature-inspired look. The felt only needs to be folded over once and glued together at the sides. Secure the parcel with the jute thread and the "wick thread" wool cord in natural white to give it a unique touch.

Idea 7:
In a tailcoat with bow tie
Classic, elegant and yet with a little play of colours. With our single-coloured "Toni" felts, you can let off steam with this idea. Combine two colours of your choice, cut them into squares, lay them on top of each other and wrap them once around your gift. Use a woollen cord such as "smart thread" or "wick thread" in natural white to tie everything together. You can make holes at the corners and pull the thread through to give the whole thing that certain something. If you wrap a wine bottle in this way, for example, it will look as if it is wearing a tailcoat and a bow 😉
Idea 8:
Play of colours in red and green
Do you want bottle packaging that stands out from afar? Then combine bright scarlet red with vibrant moss green. Take your single-coloured "Toni" felt and wrap your gift completely in it so that nothing is visible. Make sure that you can knot the felt together at the top at the end so that nothing comes loose. You can then secure everything with the "Dochfaden" and "Rauris" woollen cords and make a few loops for decoration.

Idea 9:
With secret compartment
With the "Klausi" felt, you can kill two colours with one stone. Cut a small strip to size and glue the sides halfway over each other to create a small tube. Now cut a slit about 1-2 cm long at about the height where the gluing ends and thread one side of your felt through it. Finally, use the thick woollen cord "Rauris" with wire to secure everything to your bottle. Through the small flap that has formed in your felt, you can place a money or voucher or a letter of congratulations.

Idea 10:
Classic and precise
For this idea, cut out one circle each from single-coloured "Toni" felts. Make sure that they are different sizes when you lay them on top of each other. Make a small hole in the centre of each one. Then wrap your gift with the woollen cord "wick thread" and finally thread both ends through the holes in your circles and knot them elegantly into a small ball.
